How did you get involved in Dream High and what is your involvement?

I was initially involved as a client with a new business and am now a panel member and Director of the Board.

What has been your experience of Dream High?

Dream High was the most supportive organisation when establishing and starting up my food business, and provided ongoing support as I needed it. I could talk openly and honestly with the facilitator who was always there for me when needed.

How do you think it impacts on the community/clients?

It has a huge impact as going it alone in business is really hard and lonely, even when you have good family & friends around you – sometimes the just don’t get it. Dream high does- it knows that some of the support need is moral and emotional as well as technical and you need to get through that to succeed.

What do you get personally get out of your involvement?

They feeling that I can now try to give back via the panel & Director role some of what I have received as a client; contribution to my community and exposure to a whole new business network as well.
