New clown in town, thanks to Dream High

Clowning around is a serious business for Kensington entrepreneur Siddi Majubah.

Siddi is bringing some of the skills of the circus to Kensington, with a venture supported by local business support group, Dream High.

With advice and help with business planning from Dream High, Siddi has secured a personal loan from Edge Hill Credit Union and is now available for hire as a clown and entertainer.

His first booking was at Kensington Summer Fun Day where he helped to amuse and entertain thousands of visitors. But his second outing in costume was to a monthly meeting of the Dream High panel of volunteer business advisors.

“I went along to the meeting to give panel members a taste of clown entertainment – and to say thank you for their help and support,” said Siddi, who is well known locally for delivering ‘electric boogie’ break dance workshops.

Dream High enterprise facilitator Claire Chang said: “Siddi is an inspiration, having overcome obstacles in his way when unable to secure funding despite proving there was a demand for his service.

“He has passion and determination – as well as a positive outlook on life, which is why I believe he deserves to succeed.”

Siddi is also being helped by business advisors Blue Orchid.
