A young Liverpool entrepreneur is designing a new future for himself thanks to a helping hand from business support initiative Dream High.

Joshua Payne, 24, has launched Red Pepper Graphics after moving into ICDC, the International Centre for Digital Content on Wavertree Technology Park.

His business is a franchise of printing.com and offers the full range of design and printing packages, including corporate identity, branding, business cards and letterheads, brochures, magazines and posters.

In the last year, working from his home in Kensington he has picked up a large number of clients including the NW Solicitors Association; Liverpool Lighthouse; Edge Hill Credit Union and the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.

Joshua said: “As a start up business I have been in touch with a lot of business advisors but the help I have received from Dream High facilitator Claire Baker and her panel of volunteer advisors has been by far the most productive.

“She has dealt with every question I have put to her; introduced me to people who have given me work and has been an all round excellent business mentor. Also, she put me in touch with Dream High panel members who have also helped – in particular, James Dunningham at Fresh Consultants.”

Claire Baker described Joshua as ‘inspirational’. “He is determined to make his business succeed and is very focussed on giving the best service to his clients. Moving into an office at ICDC will give him access to other entrepreneurs in the same position, as well as potential clients, and I wish him well.”
